Film Screening of ''Girl Rising''

Deborah's Palm presents: "Girl Rising" - a new documentary about girls and education. This special film screening will be shown at the Aquarius Theatre on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m. Academy Award-nominated director Richard E. Robbins presents a film that vividly testifies that providing a girl in a developing country with just a few years of education, can break the cycle of poverty in a way that reverberates throughout a community. The Aquarius Theatre is located at 430 Emerson Street in Palo Alto.
