DESCRIPTION:Join the Palo Alto Art Center for an introductory workshop covering the many facets of creating work for and firing wood-burning kilns. In the studio\, we will explore forms and surface textures that highlight the effects from firing in a wood-burning soda kiln. In conjunction with the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation Visiting Artist Series\, Shin Young Taek\, Kim Young Soo\, and Adam Field will also join us for the firing at the kiln site.
