DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two day trunk show featuring apparel by Ellen Brook and jewelry by Nassim Nouri of Blue Donya! Meet the designers\, participate in a raffle drawing for their work\, and shop their spring collections!\n\nEllen Brook is a painter and apparel designer based in San Mateo\, CA. She brings a modern sensibility to silk clothing and accessories that are awash with color. Her collection includes tunics\, shrugs\, tops\, skirts and scarves that are handpainted and one-of-a-kind. In addition to her apparel line\, Ellen's artwork will be on display as a part of our May exhibition.\n\nNassim Nouri\, the designer behind Blue Donya\, creates vibrant modern jewelry from glass\, sea glass\, resin\, wood\, semi-precious stones\, pearls\, and shells. Her pieces are bold and colorful\, and pair beautifully with Ellen's apparel. Donya means ‘the world' in Persian\, and Blue Donya is inspired by nature and the oceans. Her collections reflects a passion for beauty and simplicity\; and celebrate seasons\, color\, and light. Each piece is uniquely designed and hand assembled by Nassim\, and is a limited edition or one of a kind.\n\nNew Coast Studios is a gallery\, shop and event space in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our converted warehouse space is a beautiful blank slate for a rotating series of art exhibitions\, design events\, workshops and special activities. We work with over 200 artists and designers a year\, and strive to be a community gathering place and art resource for the Bay Area.
