Palo Alto Family Y has the rare opportunity to let children ages 6 16 years old experience Brain Day\, an annual event in which volunteers from the Stanford School of Medicine Neuroscience program take real human brains to classrooms\, sharing an hour-long\, hands-on demonstration in which kids get the chance to see and hold human and animal brains\, often for the first time.
