DESCRIPTION:We would like to advertise of 5K race that is coming up November 3rd at Stanford University and the PAC 12 Plaza. Could we get more information on how we can post an ad? Thank you! WHAT: A 5K (3.1 mile) fun run/walk WHY: To raise awareness and funds for the fight against pulmonary hypertension - a disease which affects the heart and lungs of children and adults WHEN: Sunday\, November 3rd\, 2019 - 9:00am WHERE: In its 19th year\, the race is held on the beautiful Stanford University Campus. For those who can't attend\, we will offer the opportunity to participate in a 'virtual race'. WHO: 2\,000 competitive and casual runners and walkers\, including Stanford students\, staff\, faculty\, patients\, families and friends (of those we honor and remember)\, medical providers\, volunteers\, and supporters of the PH community. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Corporate teams and groups are also encouraged to take part. ABOUT THE The Vera Moulton Wall Center at Stanford seeks to enhance the lives of patients with pulmonary vascular disease by providing the highest level of clinical care\, offering advanced training opportunities for physicians and other health care providers\, and participating in Bench-to-Bedside research in pulmonary vascular disease. Through the support of community and educational events\, the Wall Center aims to bring increased awareness and support for the fight against PH.
