Volunteerism Networking Event
Volunteer recruitment, management and motivation are important to any nonprofit using volunteers. We will discuss volunteerism, share with others their experiences, get your questions answered and see how others are handling volunteer issues. In this networking, we will be talking about how you can improve results, recruit the right people and get the job done through volunteers.
Facilitator:
John Edwards received his PhD in Solid State Physics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. John has 20 years’ experience as a counselor, mentor and lecturer for small businesses owners, both for profit and nonprofit. He has worked with and has helped more than 1000 business owners in all stages of the business cycle—from startup, growth, and turn-around to sale. He specializes in helping nonprofit businesses and teaches numerous business courses and seminars that emphasize innovation, entrepreneurship and business-planning needs for both profit and nonprofit businesses.
